Chef Ganesh balances the flavors of the East perfectly in all of the dishes offered. Vegetarian or Vegan? We have a number of delicious options and many of our dishes can be paired with tofu and vegetables - perfect to suit all of your guests’ needs.

Silk Road’s private event space is located in the heart of the Marigny, tucked away in our neighborhood bistro. Enter through your private entrance or explore your way through our restaurant wine “cave” to our lush courtyard and cozy private room. Perfect for groups of 100 or fewer, we offer seated, tray-passed and buffet style service for your next event.

“Our family has a long-running love affair with Silk Road NOLA. It’s our favorite New Orleans restaurant! We love Chef Ganesh’s magical way of fusing Creole, Indian and Asian cuisines. We dine at Silk Road several times a year and have tasted everything on the menu…One taste of their signature dessert, White Chocolate Mango cheesecake, will keep you coming back for more (we’ve ordered whole mango cheesecakes with raspberry and mango sauces for dinner parties). Silk Road is our go-to place for casual dining, entertaining in-town and out-of-town guests, drop-in drinks and appetizers during carnival season, wine tastings, Saints games, and family events like birthdays and graduations. Chef Ganesh prepared a customized brunch for out-of-town guests at our wedding. We enjoyed scrambled eggs with green onion and cilantro, Upma (cream of wheat with Indian spices), biscuits and sawmill gravy, and chutneys, accompanied by bottomless mimosas, Bloody Mary’s and coffee.
